Zakawsay is a technical initiative focused on the experimental transformation of glass waste in an insular context.

During its eight-month pilot phase, the laboratory will implement controlled processes of classification, crushing, and thermal fusion, generating measurable data and replicable protocols to reduce logistical dependence on transporting waste to the mainland.
